河床主帅马塞洛-加拉多曾在赛后被问到这个问题时回应：“我不会具体点名”。但TyC获悉，加拉多曾在5月20日前后与C罗有过沟通。
博卡青年方面则因C罗与卡瓦尼的友谊产生联想，两人曾在曼联共事，可能存在通过乌拉圭人的非正式接触。
对此博卡青年内部人士笑着回答：“也许有人联系过他试试运气...”
